![]() ![]() You're utterly satisfied in the end when there's not a bit of sadness in it, the loving ones get to have eachother and so forth. and that's the beauty of it, to be honest!īut most fairytales share on thing in common: And don't you dare lecture about realism ("not all stories end well") because Deponia is as far from realism as can be. It's just seriously not satisfying at all. I don't like anti-climax endings with love affairs ending, close couples departing eachother and/or bad guys winning in the end. The ending made it so that now I'm not even certain if I want to spend my coins on it. I mean I normally see a walkthrough if I'm suspicious whether or not I'll like the game and if I love it, I'll buy it. And now that I saw the walkthrough on YouTube, I believe they just lost a customer if not multiple ones. ![]() Me and pretty much all of my friends who played the series were mad because of the let-down ending. I absolutely LOVED Deponia, Chaos on Deponia and Goodbye Deponia. The problem is with the game, not the fans. ![]() The game ending with a "nope, you don't get it", is the definition of a tease. Deponia is a game about hope and never giving up hope, that in spite of the impossible odds knowing we will win, we will find a way. We want a damn happy ending, and them trying to shift the blame like that is just an even bigger "fuck you". He did the same thing he'd been doing from the beginning.ĭo you really want a better ending or you just want it to not end at all? They tried to make their "big message" being about how Rufus had "finally changed", but he really hadn't. This is one of the reasons why the end of Goodbye Deponia was so unsatisfying. His human kindness legitimately is what gets in his way every time, because he is a hero who deserves a hero's reward. In spite of how narcissistic Rufus is, he is a very real hero. Because he refused to sacrifice Deponia to get his way." He could have gone to Elysium with me on several occasions. You wouldn't even have looked up when the bomb towers opened their hatches. Are you serious about blaming Rufus? Where would you be without him now? Likely still at home in Kuvaq, or at the Floating Black Market. "Stop that! You should be ashamed of yourselves. I refuse to believe that Rufus is anything but a hero. I'm not sure they think Rufus deserves it, after all thing he's done ![]()
